EDUCATING AND EMPOWERING WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD
PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® is an annual program initiated more than 17 years ago in Afghanistan and Rwanda to educate and empower women entrepreneurs through training and mentorship. It supports women from diverse ethnic backgrounds in various industries and is built on three core components: In-Country Education, Leadership Development, and Pay It Forward.
These elements synergistically enhance participants’ business and leadership skills, foster a strong public policy agenda in the women’s business community, and help develop stable democracies. A crucial part of the program is its mentorship, where students are paired with experienced business owners for guidance in various business areas.
YOUNG ENTERPRISING WOMEN
Each YOUNG ENTERPRISING WOMEN mentoring event across the U.S. provides scholarships for high school girls passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) to attend the Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration & Conference. These events connect high school students with leading women entrepreneurs in their communities, offering workshops, leadership training, and mentorship opportunities with some of the finest women entrepreneurs from both the U.S. and globally. By participating, the young women are inspired to dream big and receive practical guidance on becoming future entrepreneurs or leaders in STEM and other fields.

YOUNG ENTERPRISING WOMEN provides high school girls an opportunity to meet and connect with outstanding women entrepreneurs in the local community at events designed to recognize their leadership potential.

YOUNG ENTERPRISING WOMEN inspire at-risk high school girls to dream big and focus on the next steps to realize their potential as entrepreneurs or leaders in STEM-based fields and other industries.

YOUNG ENTERPRISING WOMEN brings a focus on opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to high school girls who may not have role models or mentors.
